Low Ropes
- balance, coordination, teamwork -
The Low Ropes course at Camp Coolamatong consists of 12 elements established in two distinct sections.
The low ropes course will challenge campers to rely on each other as they complete course. The large
variety of elements encourage a sense of responsibility and team work, as campers learn to "spot" one
another. The course will test campers' balance coordination, and physical fitness, in an atmosphere of
fun and excitement.
Team and individual time trials add an extra level of challenge that most groups are usually ready
to tackle once opportunity has been given to practice on each individual element. Attempting the
course blindfolded provides an additional degree of difficulty that ensures a healthy dependence
on the spotters.
Normal group numbers for the Low Ropes are 10 - 12 per group.
