Facilities
- where campers stay at Coola -

Coolamatong's buildings have a 'colonial farm' atmosphere and extensive renovations over recent years have maintained the heritage appeal of the camp. All our buildings reflect a warm homestead feeling with wide verandas and large windows providing extensive views to surrounding farmland and bush.

Our facilities consist of :

- Bunkrooms and cabins to sleep up to 110 people.

- A spacious, carpeted dining hall featuring a large open fire place and lounge area.

- A recreation room which has been converted from the old shearing shed and includes a separate nature education room.

- A shaded picnic area and bbq rotunda.

- Two separate recreational ovals are situated adjacent to the buildings, and 'duck arm' a quiet corner of the Gippsland Lake is less than 200 meters from the main buildings.

Accomodation

Our Bunkrooms consist of eight rooms sleeping six to eight campers in each, with two ensuited rooms. There are also three cabins, each with two camper bedrooms with 4 beds in each. Each cabin also features a separate leaders room with two beds, and separate ensuite.

Amenities include spacious male and female toilet blocks located at either end of the bunkrooms. Separate disabled toilets facilities are provided in each. A Laundry provides washing machine, sinks and commercial dryer.

The dining hall comfortably sits 120 people and connects to the very well appointed and spacious commercial kitchen. Fully shaded Picnic tables and seating outside provide an ideal picnic area.

Dining Hall

Our spacious dining hall seats 130 connecting via a servery to the kitchen. The dining hall features an open fire and lounge area for those late night hot chocolate or coffee chats. The dining hall has large windows that provide extensive views to the surrounding farm and bushland. A data projector, PA system, DVD and laptop connection provides for all types of activities ranging from school discos to movie nights.

Recreational Facilities

The old shearing shed has been converted to a games hall featuring table tennis tables and a fuseball table. A separate pool room is situated adjacent to the dining hall.

Outside there are two large grassed ovals with both soccer and football posts. There are also two hardcourt basketball play courts and a beach volleyball court available. A range of sporting equipment is available. Four camp unicycles are also available and provide an entertaining and challenging activity in free time.
