Coolamatong's environmental surroundings make it an excellent venue to teach basic principles of ecology to primary students or conduct field work with senior secondary students.

With the expanse of the magnificent Gippsland Lakes literally on our door step, Coolamatong offers the ultimate venue for watersports and recreational pursuits, such as canoeing, kayaking, rafting, sailing, fishing and water-skiing. A boat cruise aboard the C.C. Neill allows campers to take in the beauty of the lakes and local coastal National Parks including the 90 mile beach.

Camp Coolamatong is the ideal place to bring your school group. The wide open spaces are still all within easy reach by walk of the camp which means the excellent array of activities can be readily accessessed by groups as they rotate through the programs.
