Camp Coolamatong provides an excellent destination and fantastic venue for families, churches, clubs and community groups looking for a weekend or holiday camp. Fully catered or self-catered options are available, with program assistance if desired.

Camp Coolamatong provides outstanding facilities, with accommodation for 110, a huge campsite area to explore, the Gippsland Lakes within a few minutes walk, an extensive range of both specialised and self led activities available, outstanding camp staff support, all couched within a pristine environment! Coolamatong is definitely the perfect getaway for your private group, whether it's a full week of action or a few days of relaxation!

Some of the many benefits of conducting a camp at Coolamatong include:

Facilities - Bunkrooms and cabins to sleep 110 including 5 ensuited rooms. A commercial kitchen, large dining hall, recreation room, DVD player, television, data projector and PA system. Outdoor entertainment area with shaded picnic tables and beautifully presented bbq rotunda, grassed ovals and massive outdoor areas to explore make Coolamatong an adventure each time you come.

Dining - Fully catered camps are available catering for all dietary needs. Self catered options are made easy with our fully equipped commercial kitchen featuring two gas ovens and dishwasher. The fully carpeted dining hall comfortably seats 120 and includes a lounge area with open fire place.

Self-led Activities - Includes: frisbee golf, nature trail, low ropes, initiatives course, lake swimming and an extensive array of recreational and sporting activities!

Programmed Activities available - Includes: archery, bushcraft, climbing and abseiling, horse riding, initiatives, kayaking, low ropes, orienteering, rafting, , survivor - team challenge, and water skiing. A full day or half day boat cruise on the camp launch, the C.C. Neill (licensed to carry 49 passengers) provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the Gippsland Lakes taking in local attractions such as Paynesville, Raymond Island, Coastal National Parks and the 90 mile beach.

Activity availability can vary according to seasons and group leaders are encouraged to book early if participation in specialist activities are desired.

Individual Attention - Camp Coolamatong provides qualified staff to lead all specialized activities on camps. Programs are tailored to individual groups and pitched to the age, experience, and energy of your campers.

Environment - Based on 170 acres of farmland, bushland, wetlands, with beaches nearby, and on the foreshore of the Gippsland Lakes, Coolamatong is the ultimate outdoor experience. Such a large campsite area also means that small groups can be off doing their own activities without distraction, without ever being more than a short walk from the campsite.

Staff - Coolamatong staff are helpful and friendly - any issues that may arise will be dealt with immediately and if you need help they are always ready to make your camping experience the best that it can be. Staff housing is located close to the campsite providing quick assistance as needed.

Program - Fully programmed and catered camp programmes available, or self-led and self-catered camp with Coolamatong staff supplied for specialist activities.
