Camp Coolamatong is located approximately 280km east of Melbourne. The camp can be reached in approximately 2.5 hours from Pakenham via the Princess Highway.
Camp Coolamatong is situated on Lake Victoria, 14 km from Bairnsdale via the Paynesville Road. Click on the map link below for details on travelling from Bairnsdale to the camp.
When coming from Melbourne, take the Paynesville Road, which is the first left, after you pass the Mitchel River caravan park having passed through the city centre of Bairnsdale (refer to map link below).
Buses and high vehicles are advised to take careful note of directions given on the map attached (link below) as there is a low bridge (2.4m maximum clearance) that needs to be avoided by taking the suggested alternate route.
